Rating and Analysis

A Cost 2 (1 upgraded) power with a unique effect: every Strike-family card drawn auto-plays on a random enemy. More Strike-family cards (Strike, Twin Strike, Setup Strike, Pommel Strike, Ash Strike) means more auto-attacks per turn. A dedicated Strike-heavy build provides continuous free damage. Upgraded to 1 cost, the 2-Energy investment pays off much faster. Random targeting splits damage against multi-enemy groups but concentrates against single targets.

How to Use

If running Hell Raiser, deliberately retain or add Strike-family cards. Twin Strike (Strike-equivalent) adds value as a target. Adding Pommel Strike (Strike + draw) triggers Hell Raiser on every draw plus bonus damage. Combined with Perfected Strike, motivation to stack Strike-family cards doubles. Upgraded 1 cost is light enough to deploy early.

Good Synergies

  • Strike (Ironclad): Base target card. Keeping it boosts Hell Raiser's frequency.
  • Setup Strike: Strike-family with Strength buff. Auto-plays via Hell Raiser.
  • Pommel Strike: Strike-family + draw. Double benefit from Hell Raiser.
  • Perfected Strike: Attack scaling with Strike count. Mutual amplification.
  • Inflame / Demon Form: Strength buffs. Hell Raiser's auto-Strikes also scale with Strength.

Pick Priority

  • Early Act 1: Low-Medium. Fine with early Strikes present but other options often better.
  • Late Act 1: Medium. Commit here if building Strike-focused.
  • Act 2+: Deck-dependent. High priority with Pommel/Twin Strike online.
  • Boss reward: Deck-dependent. Only valuable if Strike deck is mostly complete.
